Why choose a specialist for Invisalign in London?

Many dentists in London offer Invisalign. At Waterloo Dental & Orthodontics your treatment is planned and supervised by a specialist orthodontist – a dentist with several years of extra full-time training in orthodontics, listed on the General Dental Council's Specialist List. That means your bite, gums and long-term stability are planned for, not just how straight your front teeth look.

What Invisalign can treat

Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners that move your teeth a little at a time. It suits many adults and teenagers with:

Crowded teeth

Overlapping or twisted teeth that are harder to clean and can make a smile look uneven.

Gaps

Spaces between the teeth, including a gap between the front teeth.

Bite problems

Many overbites, underbites, crossbites and open bites. We'll tell you honestly if braces would do a better job.

Teeth that have moved back

Had braces as a teenager and stopped wearing your retainer? Aligners are often a good way to correct relapse.

Invisalign in London: common questions

How much does Invisalign cost in London?

At our Waterloo practice, Invisalign starts from £1,850 and Invisalign Complete from £3,599. Your exact price depends on your teeth, and you get a written quote at your free consultation before anything starts. 0% finance is available through Tabeo, subject to status.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Your 30-minute consultation with a 3D scan is free. We ask for a £10 deposit to hold your appointment, which is refunded or taken off your treatment.

How long does Invisalign take?

Mild cases can take a few months, while more complex cases often take 12–18 months or longer. We'll give you an estimate at your consultation.

How many hours a day do I need to wear aligners?

About 22 hours a day. Take them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush your teeth.

Does Invisalign hurt?

Most people feel some pressure or tightness for a day or two when they start a new set of aligners. This is normal and usually settles quickly.

Who will look after my treatment?

Your treatment is planned and supervised by specialist orthodontist Dr Sarah Sadek (GDC No. 114943), with support from our orthodontic therapist Diane Alexe.

What's the difference between Invisalign and AddaSmile?

Both are clear, removable aligners. Invisalign is a well-known brand that suits a wide range of cases. AddaSmile is a clear aligner brand that offers a more affordable option for many mild to moderate cases. We'll recommend what suits your teeth.

Do I need a retainer afterwards?

Yes. Teeth can move back over time, so retainers are an important part of treatment. We'll advise you on the right retainer and how long to wear it.
