What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 replaces a whole upper or lower arch of teeth with a fixed bridge held in place by four dental implants. The two front implants are placed straight and the two back implants are angled, which helps make the most of the bone you have and can often avoid bone grafting.

Who is All-on-4 for?

Failing teeth

If many of your teeth are loose, decayed or broken, All-on-4 can replace them with a fixed set of teeth.

Denture wearers

If your dentures move, rub or affect how you eat and speak, implants can hold fixed teeth firmly in place.

Limited bone

Angled back implants can often be used where there is less bone, reducing the need for grafting. Your CBCT scan shows what's possible.

Wanting fewer appointments

Replacing a full arch with four implants usually means fewer procedures than placing an implant for every tooth.

All-on-4 in Waterloo: common questions

How much does All-on-4 cost at Waterloo Dental?

All-on-4 starts from £6,495 per arch. The exact price depends on your case, and after your consultation and CBCT scan you'll receive a written treatment plan showing exactly what is included.

What is All-on-4?

All-on-4 is a way of replacing a full arch of teeth with a fixed bridge supported by four dental implants. The two back implants are placed at an angle, which can make use of the available bone and often avoids the need for bone grafting.

Am I suitable for All-on-4?

It can suit people who have lost most of their teeth, whose remaining teeth are failing, or who are unhappy with loose dentures. We'll check your general health, gums and bone with a clinical examination and a CBCT scan.

Will I leave with teeth on the day?

In suitable cases, fixed temporary teeth can be fitted shortly after the implants are placed. Your dentist will confirm whether this applies to you at your consultation.

How long until I get my final teeth?

The implants need time to bond with the bone, usually a few months. Your final bridge is then made and fitted. We'll give you a personal timeline in your treatment plan.

Does it hurt?

Treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic. It's normal to have some swelling and tenderness for a few days afterwards, and we'll give you aftercare advice and pain relief guidance.

Do you offer sedation?

We don't currently offer sedation. Treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic, and our team takes time to support nervous patients and explain each step.

What if I don't have enough bone?

Because the back implants are angled, All-on-4 can often be used where bone is limited. Our on-site CBCT scanner shows your bone in 3D so we can plan the right approach.

All-on-4 or dentures – which is better for me?

Dentures are removable and cost less, but can move when eating. All-on-4 is fixed in place and only removed by your dentist. We'll talk you through the pros and cons of each option.

How do I look after All-on-4?

Brush twice a day, clean around the bridge with interdental brushes or a water flosser, and come in for regular reviews and hygiene visits so we can check the implants and gums.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. You can spread the cost with 0% finance through Tabeo, subject to status.

Where is the practice?

We're at 223 Waterloo Road, London SE1 8XH, a short walk from Waterloo, Lambeth North and Southwark stations. CBCT scans are taken on site.
