Dr. Iffat Ahmed is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who recently joined the team at Waterloo Dental and Orthodontics. After graduating from King’s College London, Dr. Ahmed went on to complete her postgraduate training in Essex, where she spent nearly four years honing her skills. During this time, she earned her SAAD qualification and successfully sedated over 200 anxious patients, developing a particular passion for helping those who find dental visits intimidating.

Dr. Ahmed takes great pride in providing gentle, patient-centered care, ensuring that every visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. She has a special interest in managing dental anxiety, offering a calm and reassuring environment for patients who may feel nervous about treatment. Her caring approach extends to paediatric dentistry, where she works to create positive, enjoyable experiences for young patients, ensuring they develop healthy habits and lasting, positive memories of their time at the dentist.

In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Ahmed has pursued several advanced aesthetic courses and offers a range of cosmetic restorative treatments, including white fillings, crowns, and composite bonding, to help patients achieve their desired smiles.
